I have a step daugther eleven years old. Last week I was called to appear at her college an I found out that she kissed or let to be kissed by a boy at her age. I´m really worried about that, I´m not prepared to guide her at this phase, sometimes I think this is to precocious others I think is just curiosity . I´d like to get some advices from other parents, specially moms who have pass thought this phase.
Sorry about any english mistake, I don´t use it frequent. Regards, |

I have a 12 year old daughter. She is a t the age where boys are becoming interesting. I overhear her talking to frineds about boys at school. At this point I wouldn't worry too much about your stepdaughter. I think she is just learning. Make sure you keep an eye on her and watch for advancement. At that point you may need to sit down and talk with her.

This is the advancement. If kids are kissing at 11 or 12 what do you think they will be doing at 15 or 16? Physical relationships happen in steps. Kissing will get comfortable for them...and then it will get old. What will they do then??? You or your husband should talk with her about being appropriate with boys and there should be age limits, standards, and expectations for her.
